I’m unfortunately still fighting off this cold which turned out to be Bronchitis, so I’m “busy” trying to get rest. It’s frustrating to have a project sitting there ready to go, with studio time carved out from the academic year, but to be unable to take any action.
I made a quick trip to RISD today to install my students’ work in the Foundation Studies Triennial Exhibition at Woods-Gerry Gallery. The exhibition highlights Foundation Studies work by freshman at RISD in Drawing, Three-Dimensional Design and Two-Dimensional Design and opens this Thursday night. I also dropped by the RISD Store to pick up a special order of large scale Dura-Lar, which I’ll be using very soon to create these crayon drawings.
Update: Images from the Triennial Exhibition can be seen here.
