Oil Priming Canvas for Oil Painting

I was surprised to see today that the majority of the oil primer had dried when I went to look at the canvasses today. It’s possible that I might want to add another coat just to be sure that there is enough of a foundation. The way the canvasses looked today, I think only 1 coat is just too thin. It might also save me an extra layer of white paint which would be good. I’ll see how they look tomorrow and decide.
