Procrastination from the Studio

I have the day off today, and ironically, having more time on my hands always makes me much less productive and efficient with how I use my time. I know for a fact that I get more tasks done when I’m under pressure and can feel every minute melting away.

That said, I’m convinced that I used this task of posting images to this blog as an excuse to procrastinate before getting into the studio to do more ink drawings. In some ways I let myself get away with procrastinating if I’m working on this blog, it does very much serve as a tool for me to work through a lot of complicated issues in my work.

I ordered a bunch of rice paper in rolls and pads the other day, and they’re sitting there waiting for me so I really have no excuse at all to justify wasting more time doing other things.
