I’ve been working on organizing “Dual Action”, the New England Print Faculty Invitational Exhibition taking place in March at the Jewett Gallery at Wellesley College. The idea for this exhibition came from the Arches Student Show, which is shown in conjunction with the Boston Printmakers North American Print Biennial at Boston University, which opens tomorrow afternoon. The Arches Student Show exhibits student work by students at colleges and universities across New England and also displays the faculty work alongside the student work. “Dual Action” aims to highlight prints by faculty teaching at New England colleges and universities in a single group exhibition.
Participating schools include: The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, Boston University, College of the Holy Cross, Framingham State College, Massachusetts College of Arts & Design, Mount Holyoke College, Plymouth State University, Rhode Island School of Design, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Smith College, University of Massachusetts Lowell, University of New Hampshire, University of Connecticut, Wellesley College, and Worcester State College.
