Slew of Exhibitions

I have yet to resume work after being away from my studio practice for several months, but I have a slew of exhibitions coming up this fall that I’m currently preparing for. All of the exhibitions are group shows of varying sizes, that cover a range of topics and media.  “Evolution of a Shared Vision” at the Currier Museum of Art will feature prints from the David and Barbara Stahl collection.  Their collection includes old master prints by Durer and Rembrandt, 20th century American prints, and German Expressionist prints.  At the other end of the spectrum, “Where Are We?” at the Chazan Gallery is a four person exhibition featuring myself, Julie Gearan, Brian O’Malley , and Eric Sung focusing on the figure and ground in drawing, painting, and photography.

With the exception of some sculptures that need some touching up, the work that’s going into these exhibitions is already completed.  Primarily I’m focusing on making plans for installing the various works and also on publicity materials.  Below are the four exhibitions I’ll be participating in.  Read more information in News.
