I started modeling the third face in this set yesterday morning, and things felt great. I’m definitely someone who does better when I’m in the middle of something. There’s something about that moment just before you start things that is very difficult. Once you get started, everything makes sense and goes fine, but before that is one big mental challenge simply to get started. I think we’ve all been there before, with that blank page staring back at us, and the intimidation and fear that accompanies it. Now that I have three clay faces in progress, I can also let myself jump around from face to face, which provides a little more liberty in terms of what I feel like working on at any given moment.
